Update on the payment of the Pandemic Recognition Payment, Hospital Overcrowding and our call for the reinstatement of facemasks in indoor and crowded settings.  

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has called for direct ministerial intervention in order to tackle the trolley crisis.

The INMO has today confirmed the highest numbers of patients on trolleys today since the beginning of the pandemic. 

Overcrowding having serious impact on staff well-being and quality of care that they can provide to patients. 

The INMO  has called for the HSE to declare the current overcrowding situation in our hospitals as an emergency and impose all necessary assistance and restrictions
