Radiology section

This Section is open to all nurses working in radiology, intervascular/interventional suite services, and cardiac cauterisation laboratory. 

Our objective is to ensure the highest level of holistic care is given by our members to each patient while undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures in the radiology department. 

As professional nurses practising in a non-traditional area of radiology, we are striving to give a definition to the "interventional radiology nurse specialist" by exploring professional issues, industrial relations issues, development of clinical practice guidelines, ethical considerations, health and safety issues and radiation protection for patients and staff.
