Who is this section for?

This section is designed for nurses and midwives who specialise in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Our community comprises professionals who are passionate about advancing the standards of care in dermatology and aesthetics, fostering professional development, and advocating for the highest levels of patient care.

MIssion statement

Our mission is to support dermatology and aesthetic nurses in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, enhancing patient outcomes, and promoting the well-being and confidence of the individuals they serve.

Aims and objectives

Our section is committed to:

  • Ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of dermatological and aesthetic care through evidence-based practices.
  • Fostering continuous education and training opportunities to enhance the knowledge and skills of our members.
  • To establish equal opportunities to postgraduate nursing studies for nurses working in private practice.
  • Creating a supportive community where members can share experiences, challenges, and solutions.
  • Representing and advocating for the interests of dermatology and aesthetic nurses at both national and international levels.
  • Represent dermatology aesthetic nurses in industry discussion with Department of Health and contribute to policy development
  • Effect positive change by proposing motions at the INMO Annual Delegate Conference
  • Encouraging and supporting research initiatives that contribute to the advancement of dermatology and aesthetic nursing.
  • Protect and elevate the reputation of dermatology and aesthetic nursing practice and help recognise that this is a new developing area in nursing.
