1 x TEMPORARY INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS OFFICER (Cover Short-Term Leave)

The INMO, as the largest professional union for Nurses and Midwives, represents circa 40,000 members in all disciplines and areas of the Irish health service. 

The Organisation provides a full range of services including industrial relations, professional advocacy, professional policy, regulatory support, and continuing education. The INMO is committed to providing an excellent service to its members on all collective and individual matters, and in order to match our growing membership, we must expand our industrial relations team.

Vacancies have now arisen for two Industrial Relations Officers to service our growing membership for the following areas (panels for future appointments may be made by region):

  • Dublin Office: South Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois and Offaly

These challenging posts involve the provision of expert professional services in the areas of industrial relations, professional development, training and recruitment.

A nursing qualification is desirable, but not essential, and applicants should have excellent organisational, communication and team-working skills.  Applicants should have a good working knowledge of the Irish Health Sector. Trade Union experience is also desirable.

Qualification or experience in Industrial Relations / Human Resource Management is also desirable as is a commitment to the wider trade union movement. 

A panel may be formed from which future appointments could be made.

Salary Scale:  IRO Salary Scale (€74,090 - €99,260) together with attractive package of benefits
