The INMO is seeking an Industrial Relations Executive based in our Dublin Office to service our growing membership in the Dublin North & North East, which covers members working in:
- Dublin North, Cavan, Monaghan Meath, Louth
General:
Within the INMO’s industrial staff structure, the Industrial Relations Executive will report to the Director of Industrial Relations and be accountable on a daily basis to the Assistant Director of Industrial Relations.
Essential requirements:
- A relevant third-level qualification
- Demonstrable commitment to trade unionism and social justice
- Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in negotiation and representing groups and individuals, including where collective and individual rights have potential conflicts
- Valid full Driving Licence
- Understanding of national and international developments in nursing and midwifery.
Desirable requirements:
- A knowledge of the operations and structures of the INMO
- A knowledge of the professional requirements for nurses and midwives
- Experience in employment law and industrial relations practice
- Nursing/midwifery qualification
Panel: A panel may be formed from which future appointments could be made.
Salary Scale: IRE Salary Scale (€59,122 - €76,856) together with an attractive package of benefits
