Q. What happens if a bereavement occurs while I am on annual leave, sick leave, etc.?

Compassionate leave may only be granted for the days on which you are rostered for duty. Therefore, compassionate leave will not be granted where an employee is on annual, sick leave, maternity leave, etc.
