As you will have seen, or heard, proposals have now emerged, with regard to public service pay, for the period 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2020.
As previously stated the Executive Council will now meet, on next Monday and Tuesday, 12th and 13th June 2017, to consider the proposals, in detail, and finalise arrangements for balloting in the coming weeks.
Subsequent to the Council meeting we will prepare information/briefing documentation, summarising the proposals, which will then be made available prior to any local information meetings and balloting.
The Executive Council, at its meeting on Monday/Tuesday, will also decide the timeframe for these information meetings and balloting which will, of course, reflect the fact that we are now in the peak leave period to ensure members have an opportunity to cast their vote.
In summary members will begin to receive full information, on the proposals, in the coming days together with all other arrangements with regard to balloting. Please watch out for further updates, sent directly or on our website/social media platforms, for information in the coming days.
