The INMO are delighted to confirm that, following on from the INMO’s campaign to improve staffing and retention measures from December 2016 to February 2017, and the resulting negotiated proposals which the INMO members voted to accept in April 2017, the Pre-Retirement Initiative has now been re-introduced.
The circular which is required to commence the process of applications for this scheme, has, now been issued from the HSE. Please click here to view the circular. As per the circular, please note applications form eligible nurses and midwives are to be forwarded to:
1. Group Directors of Nursing— for the acute hospital applications
2. Directors of Public Health Nursing— for PHNs applications
3. Directors of Nursing for the Service/employer—all other applications
Please advise your INMO Colleagues that this scheme is now open for applications.
