An unsocial hours premium is payable to nurses/midwives as follows:
Time x 2 (double time) for every hour worked.
In addition, nurses/midwives employed in the health service who work a '5 over 7' roster receive additional annual leave in lieu of their liability to work on public holidays, i.e. 9 days in the case of full-time nurses and 4.5 days in the case of job-sharing nurses/midwives.
