You must notify your employer at least three months before your career break is due to expire that you are returning to work.
If a suitable vacancy does not exist at the date of the termination of the career break an employee is guaranteed re-employment in the same grade within twelve months, i.e. a unpaid period of up to twelve months could ensure upon termination of the date of the career break.
An employee may be assigned to a different location upon his/her return.
