The 97th ADC, with the theme ‘Registered Nurses & Midwives – Professionals in Action – Making the Difference’, commenced today in the INEC, Killarney with a press conference which outlined the issues to be debated over the three days. Organisational, Education and Social Policy motions were debated during the day. This was followed by the adoption of a Position Statement regarding HCA Grade.

Report Of Second Review By The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) Of The ED Agreement

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), has notified the INMO that the Board of NMBI will be considering the removal of names of nurses/midwives, from the register, who have not paid their Annual Retention Fee for 2016, on Tuesday, 24th May 2016.
(INMO), in its latest Trolley/Ward Watch analysis, has recorded 8,145 patients spent time on trolleys awaiting an in-patient bed in April 2016. This represents a 4% increase when compared to April 2015.
