    Orthopaedic Nurses Section


MISSION STATEMENT/AIM:


The Irish Orthopaedic Nurses Section was established to provide a forum for orthopaedic nurses to network, to exchange practice information and to promote education events relevant to this specialist area.

Objectives:
  • To protect and promote the professional interests of members.  
  • To meet twice yearly. 
  • To network with colleagues locally/nationally/internationally. 
  • To promote study days/conferences.  
  • To provide financial assistance to attend conferences/study days.   
  • To present/discuss pertinent research relevant to orthopaedic nursing. 
  • To promote developments in orthopaedic practice nationwide.  
  • To establish links with other areas of interest e.g. Rheumatology, Rehabilitation, Irish Nurse Practice Development Association
This section is opened to all nurses who are engaged in orthopaedic nursing and/or any related speciality, as well as members who have an interest in orthopaedics irrespective of their work location.
