Your career development is important to us. The Professional Development Centre (PDC) is committed to providing high quality relevant uptodate programmes for our members.  Staff at the PDC are continuously researching the best and most appropriate methods of programme delivery in order to cater for your busy schedule in terms of work and personal commitments.  We aim to provide you with the skills necessary to develop your career as a confident, competent practitioner.

We provide workshops, conferences, information, advice, library and research facilities. The Centre also works in partnership with other establishments in the development of educational services e.g. University of Limerick, University of Ulster, the Institute of Public Administration, the Royal College of Nursing (UK), University of Manchester and the Department of Health & Children through the Office of Health Management.

Although the Professional Development Centre is based in Dublin, the Organisation is conscious of the needs of Nurses and Midwives throughout the country and has extended courses/workshops to country venues.
