Christmas & New Year Greetings
On behalf of our President, Claire Mahon, the Executive Council, and staff of the Organisation, I would like to begin this end of year circular, by wishing you, your family and friends a very happy and peaceful Christmas and good health and happiness for 2015.
As you are only too well aware 2014 was the fifth successive year when the health service was under unbearable pressure and the workloads on members continued to increase. In this context your help and assistance, in every workplace, was more important than ever and is greatly appreciated.
Throughout these years the Organisation has relied upon you to be our eyes and ears, on the ground, so that we are acutely aware of the difficulties facing members both individually and collectively. I want to take this opportunity to thank you, for your contribution, to the work of the Organisation, and, despite everything, I sincerely hope you will continue, to help us, throughout 2015.
I would ask that you bring to the attention of all members that INMO offices, over the Christmas/New Year period, will be opened as follows:
Please note, in keeping with the revised leave arrangements in the public service, we will have extended opening hours this Christmas. I would also remind you that our offices are now open from 8.30 a.m. each morning.
Thank you again for your commitment, interest and activity, on behalf of the INMO, and I hope the coming holiday period, despite everything, is restful, peaceful and enjoyable.
Go mbeannaí Dia thú am Nollaig agus i rith na hAth-Bhliana.
