Introduction
The Organisation’s members work in all areas of the Irish healthcare system, both public and private, including clinical, educational and management in both hospital and community settings.
The INMO is wholly owned by its members who elect an Executive Council (22 members), every two years, whose function it is to implement the policies of the Organisation.
These policies are determined by delegates, on behalf of the Organisation’s 42 geographic branches and 24 sections/special interest groups who elect delegates to attend the Organisation’s Annual Delegate Conference in May of each year.
With this organisational structure, which is rooted in maximising the participation of members working in the frontline, the Organisation’s policies accurately reflect the objectives, goals and requirements of our growing membership.
